New Build Snagging Inspections

New Build Snagging report

New Build Snagging

If you have purchased a new-build home you’re probably expecting it to be absolutely perfect, right?

Unfortunately, even the best new-build homes and trusted builders leave issues within your property. These can be difficult to see if you are not highly experienced and qualified in this field.

This is where The House Inspector is here to help.  We use our expertise and knowledge to produce an extensive snagging report. An in-depth room by room inspection to ensure that your developer has built to the correct standard and the finishes are of an excellent quality.

By allowing us to carry out the inspection for you, in what is already a stressful time, not only ensures that all items are picked up and recorded and potentially saving you costly works in the future, but also it allows you to concentrate on moving in to your new home without the added stress of carrying out your own inspection and wondering if you have missed anything!

We called up Pete who was highly recommended by a neighbour. I also did my own snag report on a new build home when we moved in summer 2020. Most snags have been resolved, but since then, I realised that I may not be able to detect all the snags.

Pete came over a very friendly and knowledgeable guy, who spent almost 5 hrs going through my new home with a fine tooth comb. He definitely found areas I missed and I'm so glad I instructed him.

For such a substantial purchase of a new home, I would always recommend a professional snag report rather than doing your own. Thanks Pete!!

We booked Pete to do a snagging inspection of our new build property the day after completion. Pete was really thorough, professional and communicated well with us on his findings throughout the day. He left no stone unturned and really did go above and beyond.

We now feel confident in our home and with the issues identified to discuss these with the developers, as we have a really detailed snagging report that was sent within 24 hours.

I would not hesitate to recommend or use Pete again!

We have recently used Pete to snag our own house build to ensure that the builders have completed everything and all snags were accounted for.

Pete was really thorough and super professional. We now have a great document to work from and the assurance that everything has been checked.

We would highly recommend Pete if you’ve completed a build or buying a new build house. Great value for money

If you are looking for a professional Snagger look no further as I cannot recommend The House Inspector enough.

We recently purchased a new build home that had been sat empty for around 2 years. Not only was Pete able to fit us in at short notice but he completed a really thorough job and found many things that we would have never noticed.

The results were all provided in clear and concise format as well as recommendations on how rectify the snags which we were able to send directly on to the developer. The level of detail was brilliant and highlighted things from minor cracks in plaster to mortar missing from the roof. This will be the best money you spend on buying your new home!

We purchased a new build in 2020 and after reporting a few minor snags ourselves we wanted peace of mind before our defects period ended and the builders left site.

We decided on instructing Pete The House Inspector as various friends had used him and he came highly recommended. Pete spent considerable time looking inside and outside, the garage, garden, driveway, loft, and cupboards. Within 24 hours we had the report which had pictures of every item identified with a description and what the fix was.

Pete really knows his stuff and I'm so glad we had the snagging report done. It will save us so much work, money and stress in the future, well worth it!
