Beyond his technical expertise, Pete was also very polite, respectful, and clearly takes great pride in doing the job properly. His professionalism and meticulous approach gave me complete confidence in his findings. As a thoughtful gesture, Pete even left a bottle of wine for me, which was greatly appreciated. Pete was fantastic from start to finish. Before the inspection, he gave me a really clear breakdown of the details and timeline of his process - it made everything easy to follow and gave me confidence from the get-go. The day before the job, he even got in touch to confirm the address and check that the inspection was still going ahead, which was a nice, professional touch. Communication was super easy throughout. Pete was friendly, down-to-earth, and quick to reply, which made things simple and stress-free. Our arrangements needed some flexibility as the new build is far from where I currently live but he was really flexible and provided solutions to how we can make it work which made things much easier for me. On the day, his attention to detail was spot on — he noticed things I’d never have picked up myself. He walked me through his key findings there and then, explaining everything clearly, and just a few hours after he’d finished, I had the full report in my inbox so I was able to update the developer on the same day. It was clear, well laid out, and included his professional take on everything. If you want someone who’s thorough, reliable, and genuinely easy to work with, Pete’s your guy.

Pete is highly experienced, meticulous, and professional. From the very first contact, he has been very responsive to my enquiries/ questions. Quick to schedule and available to snag within a short time. Provided his thoughts on the property condition immediately upon completion of snagging and produced a detailed report in ~24 hours. If you know anyone needing a house inspection Pete is your man 👍 I have worked as an External Quality Auditor over the years and I would never have picked up the range of issues Pete found at our new property. The subsequent report was extensive and provided far more meaningful detail, and cost less, than the Level 2 Survey we had performed at our last purchase. We got a nice bottle of wine from him as well as a house warming gift 🍷

I had Pete conduct a snagging survey for a new 4-bedroom property, and I was very impressed with the service. He spent over 6 hours on-site, carefully going through every detail. Pete was amazing! He was very friendly throughout the inspection and paid attention to every last detail. When we had issues sending the report to our developer he managed to change the file type so we could easily email it to them. When I enquired about organising the inspection the response was very quick and promptly booked in. The communication post inspection to make sure the handover to the developer went well, was so supportive!

We used House Inspector Ltd for a snagging survey on our new-build house. The surveyor arrived on time, was professional, and clearly knew what to look for. I’m not one to leave reviews but on this occasion I felt like it is truly deserved. Not only is Pete a really nice person but I found him to be very professional and extremely thorough with my house inspection and although I don’t like having strangers in my home, due to social anxiety and I wasn’t looking forward to someone being in my house for a few hours, I found it an absolute breeze thanks to him. Pete was a pleasure to deal with. Friendly, professional, calm, and with astonishing eye for detail. The snag report on our 5-bed new build property contains 111 items. I think we’d have been lucky to have spotted 5 of them without Pete’s expertise. Our home builder (who had given us just 72 hours post completion to report snags) sprung into action, arriving at the property later the same week with a printed copy of Pete’s findings, validating the vast majority of them, and started remediation work the same day. Even though you may think your new build is perfect, dealing with Pete taught us that a) it probably isn’t, b) you have no clue what you’re missing, c) even if it is perfect, won’t it feel good to have that professional validation and peace of mind that brings? Pete’s service is worth every penny in our opinion.

Here’s a polished version: Peter arrived at 8:00 AM and completed the entire inspection by around 2:00 PM, working diligently for six hours without a break. He was kind and professional throughout the process. The report he provided is incredibly detailed and helpful.

The whole experience of the snagging check was wonderfully efficient. Pete was great in communicating to help understand the process, the report and the findings. My neighbour recommended this service and am so glad she did. It has given us peace of mind about the property and awareness of the few issues that require fixing.
